When you have the joy of the Christmas season, true love, and a perfectly magical setting with a bit of royal flair, what more do you need for an enchanting wedding day?
Who says blind dates are a waste of time? Let us enlighten you because Jaiden & Christopher’s happily ever after began with a blind date and led to a wedding you will never forget. Jaiden, a native of Detroit, MI, and Christopher, a native of Atlanta, GA, were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend in Dallas, where they currently reside. During the week leading up to their first date, they talked on the phone for hours and texted each other non-stop.As they learned more about each other with every passing conversation, the anticipation was building, and they could hardly contain their excitement. Jaiden & Christopher agree, “the lengthy conversation during our first date left us not wanting to say ‘good night.’”
Still on the fence about blind dates? Their blind date became one of many other dates, leading to a fairytale romance and a wedding that rivals the royals.
Even the proposal was orchestrated with skill and expert precision. Jaiden arranged for Christopher’s best friend to help him pull off the surprise of a lifetime.Thinking he was getting ready for a VIP work event for his best friend’s job inAtlanta, Christopher and friends spent a day of pampering to get prepared. A haircut, manicure, and pedicure were all part of a ruse that kept Christopher clueless. Later in the day, when his best friend stopped by the hotel, he was supposedly staying, he asked Christopher to “run inside to grab something” he had forgotten from the room. Christopher walked into the room and was instantly rendered speechless when he heard soft music playing and saw a candle-lit & rose petal-lined path leading to a hand-written love letter from Jaiden. The trail of rose petals also led him to a suit hanging in the closet, along with instructions for when and where to go once he was dressed.Christopher found himself being whisked away to a helipad and onto a helicopter, taking him on an amazing ride over downtown Atlanta that ended with him meeting friends, family, and YES Jaiden on one knee waiting to “Put A Ring On It.”
Nineteen months after their whirlwind enGAYgement, December 4th, 2020, became a day Jaiden & Christopher will never forget. Knotting Hill Place, located just outside Dallas, Texas, was the perfect setting for their “Winter Royalty” wedding. Jaiden shared with us, ”We wanted our venue to resemble a castle, in the fashion of the British royals.” Every detail of their day was thoughtfully and purposely laid out and designed by Jaiden & Christopher. White, rose gold, and blush accents were the colors used to bring their royal-themed wedding to life. While hosting such a grand ceremony amid a pandemic can pose its own challenges, the grooms made sure to take proper safety precautions while also keeping their guests in style. Temperature checks were completed upon entry, and each guest was provided with a luxe black satin mask to wear if they hadn’t brought their own. Guests were also asked to wear black or champagne attire.

There were snow-filled glass ornaments, which served as wedding favors, that hung from a frosted Christmas tree in the venue’s grand foyer. The ceremonial hall was beautifully illuminated with candlelight and created the perfect ambiance for the grooms to catch their first glimpse of each other. They knew they would be wearing matching shoes, buttons, bowties, and shirts but had no idea what each other’s tuxedos looked like. The groomsmen were outfitted in shades of blush and black, complimenting the grooms’ all-white tailor-made tuxedos.
The reception tables were adorned with towering arrangements of wintery white flowers and tall white taper candles. Guests were treated to an array of delectable food and drinks. A five-tiered wedding cake in white and gold created an eye-catching display as the grooms carved the first slice in true royal fashion…with a sword!
A few of Jaiden & Christopher’s favorite wedding memories were, seeing each other at the ceremony for the first time, the incredible food and cake, and overall seeing the day they had envisioned come to life.
A surprise reception moment occurred when Jaiden & Christopher dazzled their guests by quick-changing into matching silver bodysuits covered in icy jewels. They most definitely lived up to the promise of serving up a “Winter Royalty” themed wedding. They made their grand exit down a red carpet while being showered by their guests with a glittery snow mix.
